Warranty information

10 Year Limited Warranty

This non-transferable warranty covers all Invisi-Fast Hidden Deck Fasteners unless excluded below.

M.M. Products, Inc. warrants its hidden deck fasteners to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Warrantor will replace any Invisi-Fast Hidden Deck Fastener that has material defects resulting in fastener failure within the time specified above for the use from the date of purchase.

This warranty specifically excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, alteration, modification, improper installation, and treatment in a manner other than is intended. Warrantor’s lone obligation is limited to replacement of the Invisi-Fast Hidden Deck Fastener, and Warrantor shall have no further liability or obligation except as purposely stated in this document. This warranty does not cover the costs of installation, removal, reinstallation, decking materials, or installation tools.

M.M. Products, Inc. will not warranty the use of the Invisi-fast Original Hidden Deck Fastener with hardwood decking products.

Failure to follow the instructions, requirements and recommendations, or warnings provided with the product shall make the warranty invalid. M.M. Products, Inc. reserves the right to investigate any claim. Decking applications using this product must comply with all local zoning and/or building codes. M.M. Products, Inc. does not assume any risk or liability associated with the use of this product. Wearing proper safety equipment and other necessary action should be taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the project.

Making A Claim

To make a claim under this warranty to receive replacement product, complete the following:

Prepare a letter which includes the following information:

    1. A list of the type and number of fasteners for which the claim is made.
    2. Proof of purchase of the product.
    3. Reason for claim.
    4. Include pictures and other information to establish a claim.

Installation Instructions

Invisi-Fast Biscuit Installation Instructions

  1. Optional: Install Invisi-Fast ORIGINAL NO SPACER (optional purchase) on ledger board. Be sure overhang tabs are flush on top of ledger board. Use center screw location going into ledger unless wood perfection is present. If the center screw hole cannot be used, use one of the other two available screw holes. The Invisi-Fast NO SPACER should be placed on the farthest edge near the outside corners and in-between the joists elsewhere. Where the two boards meet (butt joint), use one Invisi-Fast NO SPACER on either side of the joist underneath the deck board to secure the end of each board.
  2. Place the first deck board using the desired overhang. Install two screws into the deck board using the two holes provided in the underside of Invisi-Fast NO SPACER. Make sure the board is straight as the screws are tightened.
  3. Insert Invisi-Fast Biscuit Fastener into the groove of the board, centering the fastener on joist. Tighten the screw so the screw head is recessed into the fastener but not too tight. Continue installing fasteners in the center of each joist along the remainder of deck board.
  4. Slide next deck board firmly in place while aligning Invisi-Fast Biscuit Fasteners into the groove of the second board as in step 1. Before installing the screw, be sure deck board is snug to the fastener between 1 and 2. Continue installing Invisi-Fast Biscuit Fasteners in the center of each joist along the remainder of deck board.
  5. Tighten screws in first row between deck board #1 and deck board #2. Continue tightening screws along the remainder of deck board. Continue installing Invisi-Fast Biscuit fasteners into deck boards as in step 3 and 4.
  6. When the last deck board needs to be installed, secure it to the ledger using the Invisi-Fast NO SPACER as in step 1.

For a more sound deck, we recommend applying a ⅜" bead of silicone or construction adhesive along joist before installing Invisi-Fast Hidden Deck Fastener to help fill in voids and imperfections on the mating surfaces between the joist and deck boards. Not applying adhesive will not compromise stability.
